Loudspeakers will be removed whether it’s a temple or a mosque orders UP gov

The Uttar Pradesh government, on Tuesday, passed an order for the temple and mosques in UP. As per the order, no temple and mosques are allowed to use loudspeakers in high volume. The noise limit is set for loudspeakers in temples and mosques.  The order reads that “If religious places cross the noise limit standards then loudspeakers will be removed.” Police stations have been instructed to prepare a list of all such places where new rules are not followed and send their reports to the home department by April 30, 2022.

“Loudspeakers can be used at religious places with permission but the sound must not come out of the premises’’, saiid 49-year-old  Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.  The reason for issuing such orders is said to resolve the dispute that has been going on for a long time on this matter in Uttar Pradesh. Earlier, the Inspector General of Police, Prayagraj, asked the district magistrate to put a ban on the use of loudspeakers between 10 pm and 6 am as per the Supreme Court’s  order.

Before this, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also issued an order regarding Covid-19 in five districts of the NCR region and Lucknow.  These districts include Meerut, Bhagpat, Gautam Budh Nagar, Bulandshahr, and Ghaziabad, in which wearing a face mask and maintaining social distancing in crowded areas has been made compulsory as per the order.

Yogi government 2.0 recently completed one month after he took oath for the second time on March 25 in Lucknow’s Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana stadium’ as the 13th chief minister of Uttar Pradesh. With this, Yogi set another record as no Chief Minister in UP has consecutively retained power in a span of the last 20 years. Soon after taking charge for a second time, Yogi Adityanath set a target of 100 days for ministers to define strategies of their respective departments. The focus is to bring change and development to the state and its people.

In a statement, Yogi said ‘’We had a series of meetings with ministers where they have explained the strategies for the next 100 days, next six months, next one year, two years ,three years, four years, and five-year tenure of the government. The ministers now know what is expected of them and are now being asked to deliver’’.
