Banglore is back on track after winning the match against Chennai Super Kings

On Wednesday, the 49th game of the Indian Premier League of season 2022 was played. Finally, Bangalore beats one of their rivals Chennai Super Kings by 13 runs. The match was scheduled at MCA Stadium in Pune. Chennai began the powerplay strongly. MS Dhoni has won the toss and decided to bowl first against Royal Challengers Bangalore. However, Faf’s army posted the target of 173 runs for 8 wickets. By chasing the target Chennai was restricted to 160 for eight in 20 overs. After winning the game RCB is promoted to the fourth position on the point table with 12 points.  

The yellow army tried their best, South African Devon Conway top-scored for CSK with a half-century, while Moeen Ali also contributed a score of 34 runs. Harshal Patel hurt CSK badly by taking three wickets for Royal Challengers Bangalore, whereas Glenn Maxwell also picked up a couple. Before the quickfire 42 from Mahipal Lomror, the cameo from Dinesh Karthik led Royal Challengers Banglore to post the chase of 173 runs. After sending to bat first, Banglore got off the Kick start in the powerplay as openers were Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis, They added 62 runs for the first wicket. Moeen Ali’s performance boosted the game by dispensing RCB captain Faf in the eighth over.   

After a while, Glenn Maxwell and Kohli followed him as well and CSK took charge of the proceedings. Lomror and Rajat Patidar then secured RCB before Karthik gave them a strong conclusion. Eventually, Bangalore batters were the ones who contributed a win and made RCB step up on the point table. MS Dhoni mentioned that at times you need to restrict your instincts and felt that you should have gone for batting first. After losing the match CSK is standing at the ninth position on the point table. Until now they have played ten matches and out of which they have won 3 matches.
