With Zero Covid19 Deaths, Haryana Stepped into a Promising September

On Wednesday, the state of Haryana reported zero Coronavirus death after a gap of several months. However, the state also registered 20 fresh Covid19 cases on the same day. With this, the total case count reached 7,70,506 in Haryana.

According to the daily bulletin published by the state’s health department, the number of deaths remained stagnant during the last 24 hours with 9,677 total deaths. The total numbers of active patients were 296 including 91 cases under home isolation. With a recovery rate of 98.66%, the state bulletin on September 1 showed a ray of hope to ordinary citizens as well as experts.  

A total of 1,19,754 people received the vaccination, tells the same bulletin.  79,064 among them were given the first dose whereas 40,690 got the second dose of the vaccine. The cumulative coverage of the vaccine has gone 1,64,84,929 after Wednesday.

Gurugram reported the highest 9 new cases followed by Faridabad, Panchkula, Yamunanagar, and Palwal with 2 cases each. On the other hand, one case each was reported by the districts of Panipat, Jind, and Jhajjar.    

On the same day, India reported a total of 47,029 new Covid cases and 509 deaths. The new overall caseload of the country reached 3,28,57,937 and the total death toll increased to 4,39,529 with the news reports. Kerala alone witnessed 32,803 new cases and 173 deaths.

The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation has announced that every passenger arriving from Europe, China, Bangladesh, South Africa, and the Middle East must present a negative RT-PCR report from September 3 onwards. However, in its recent bulletin, INSACOG stated that the reported number of Covid19 infections in India is well within the expectations taking into all the important factors.
