The decision was taken minutes after it was found that two players — Wriddhiman Saha of Sunrisers Hyderabad and Amit Mishra of Delhi Capitals — had been tested positive for COVID-19.
The BCCI explained that it had collectively chosen to “defer” the flow period of the IPL with quick impact.The assertion said, “The BCCI would not settle on the wellbeing of the players, support staff and different members associated with getting sorted out the IPL. This decision was taken keeping the security, wellbeing and prosperity of the relative multitude of partners as a top priority.”
