Vaibhav Jha is a cybersecurity researcher, public speaker & an author who is recognized as one of the youngest Indian to train IA & AS Officers and International bureaucrats of more than 35 countries on safeguarding critical security infrastructure under Comptroller Auditor General of India. Vaibhav is a technology entrepreneur running up his cybersecurity venture right from his second year of engineering. Till date Vaibhav has trained around 20,000 students all across the country. He has worked with the Ministry of Electronics & IT ( STPI ) in helping them frame the DPR for cyber security labs in India.

Vaibhav’s Inspiring Journey

It all started when he entered his engineering college, which actually worked as a catalyst in Vaibhav’s journey. In his first year of engineering, he attended a workshop on ethical hacking, which actually ignited his inner passion for the domain, the very next day he started exploring the domain and after a few months, he authored a book on “Hack The World Before World Hacks You” at the age of 17, which was meant specially for beginners. His book achieved the sale from 0 to 100 in just 24 hrs ahead of the launch. And thus this became the turning point of his career.

Getting up the pace

 When the Demonetization took place, suddenly India experienced a drastic shift towards digital payments and wallets. During the initial days, many people became the victim of online frauds, so Vaibhav decided to start the online campaign for cyber awareness and gradually he started giving public talks. He started receiving invitations from top-notch schools and universities all across the globe, which includes Delhi Technological University, Lovely Professional University, Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, Galgotias and many more. Vaibhav founded a cybersecurity venture Intersquad Cyber Intelligence Pvt Ltd and served various clients and institutes as a CEO of the company.

In his second year of engineering, he got the opportunity to chair the Cyber Security Conference, where the chief guest was Dr Gulshan Rai, then cyber Security Chief under Prime Minister’s Office. Apart from this, he got the wonderful opportunity by NITI Aayog to become the mentor of change and thus train young kids under Atal Innovation Mission.

Deep Technology Knowledge

He has a couple of research papers published on Car Hacking & Cloud Security. Seeing his utmost interest and contribution in cyberspace he was awarded as the budding researcher award by IEEE & Amity University in International Conference on Computation, automation & knowledge management, at Amity Dubai.

Thus at the age of 20, he became the youngest Indian to train the Indian Audit and Account Service Officers and more than 50 International delegates of 35+ countries on Safeguarding Critical Security Infrastructure and making them aware of corporate cyber crimes and its preventions.
