If a negative Covid-19 RT-PCR test is obtained after seven days in hotel quarantine, it is recommended that the person with a positive result remain in home quarantine for an additional seven days before being sent to the designated isolation centre or hospital “In a statement, Nepal’s Ministry of Home Affairs said.
“In light of the increasing spread of the new Covid-19 (Omicron) variant, which was first discovered in African countries and is now spreading to European and Asian countries,” the statement read. “Nepal (Council of Ministers) has decided on 29 November 2021 to arrange provision for travellers to and from Nepal.”
