The Cricket West Indies confirmed Cricbuzz about India’s presence in Florida for T20I matches to be held in August. The matches are expected to be fixed on August 6-7, 2022. However, the release of the final dates was delayed because of permission from the hosting country US. It has been learned that some internal issues in USA cricket could be the possible reason for the delay.

As per the schedule of the Indian Cricket Team, they will travel to the West Indies directly from England in the third week of July. The Indian team can have the advantage because of its recurrent matches and then making strategies likewise.

The CEO of the Cricket West Indies said, “We know our supporters will be delighted with the news that the matches are being played all across the region as well as those living in the USA will be able to see their favorite players in action.’’

The tour will commence on July 22 in Trinidad, and Tobago, with three ODIs, played between July 22- 27 at the Queen’s Park Oval in the Port of Spain. The match will be followed by five T20I which are played at three different venues. The Cricket West Indies said that the first T20I will be played on July 29 and will mark a historic day because it will be the first-ever match to be played at the Brian Lara Cricket Academy in the South of Trinidad by the Men’s T20I.

After that, the second and third matches will be played at Warner Park and St.Kitts, respectively. This will coincide with the Emancipation Day and the Culturama holiday celebrations. The next summer schedule, which was released by the Cricket West Indies, highlighted that teams like Bangladesh and New Zealand would also be hosted.
