Royal dinner hosted by Denmark’s Queen witnessed the presence of PM Modi

PM Modi marked his presence at the dinner organised by the Queen of Denmark, Margrethe II at the Amalienborg Palace in Copenhagen. It is the second day of the Indian Ministers’ visit, which was concluded with the dinner at Denmark’s Royals. The Indian Prime Minister reached Copenhagen and held a bilateral meeting with the Danish Counterpart Mette Frederiksen. Where the two leaders talked about trade between the two countries and collaborated on the environmental-related issues on Tuesday. 

The Prime Minister and his counterpart also talked about Ukraine. The Indian PM restated India’s stand on the early termination of hostilities and a diplomatic solution to the conflict. The two ministers went to address a joint press conference, where they formally signed a number of agreements between the two countries, including a Declaration of Intent on resettling and Mobility. Entirely nine agreements were exchanged between the two nations, such as Professional education, entrepreneurship, and the launch of an energy policy dialogue. A memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on partnership in the field of skill development. 

In the late afternoon, the Prime Minister additionally addressed the members of the Indian diaspora in Copenhagen with Denmark’s Prime Minister to get along with him.  Along with 1,000 members of the Indian community in Denmark including students, researchers, work professionals, and business persons.  

The Prime Minister respected Danish PM Frederiksen’s warmth and love for Indians, this highlights that both countries can put efforts together in search of innovative solutions for green growth. He praised the positive role performed by the Indian community in Denmark. Now Indian Prime Minister will take part in the second India-Nordic summit, before leaving for Paris where he will meet the newly reappointed French President Emmanuel Macron.
