Fangirling over a boy band is so fun and exciting, moreover getting addicted to them is a real thing. The world is full of so many boy bands that make music in many genres, like pop-rock, metal, country music, and so on. Many of them become bestsellers and today we have listed down the top 5 boy bands that never fail to steal hearts.

  • One Direction

‘Everybody wanna steal my favorite boy band, everybody wanna take their heart away.’ Well without any doubt the first one on our list had to be the OG boyband One Direction. The English boy band consists of Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Liam Payne, and Zayn Malik (he left the band in March 2015). The band topped the charts ever since they came into the industry and won many awards, be it BRITs awards or AMAs or VMAs. One Direction released five studio albums, Up All Night, Take Me Home, Midnight Memories, Four, and Made in the A.M, and after that, they went on a temporary hiatus in 2015. Their fans who are popularly known as Directioners were left heartbroken but they haven’t lost hope, meanwhile, each of the band members is acting in their solo music careers.

  • BTS

If you don’t know who BTS is then you are literally living under a rock, these days one of the most popular boy bands is the South Korean band BTS. The Bangtan Boys is a group of seven members Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin,  V, and Jungook. The band debuted in 2013 under Big Hit Entertainment but Hallyu was one of the biggest reasons that BTS got the recognition they deserve. BTS has been topping numerous charts ever since they came into the industry. They became the first Korean band to top the US Billboard 200 chart with their studio album Love Yourself. Not only has BTS made its name in the industry but they also have entered the universe of Guinness World records with their music video ‘Dynamite.’ It seems like there is no stopping for this band. They are going to keep you entertained with their catchy songs and fine choreographies. 

  • The Vamps 

The Vamps are one of the boy bands that had their fair share of working hard and topping charts. The band was formed in 2012 and since then they have constantly been making their name in the industry. The pop band consists of four members Brad Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, Connor Ball, and Tristan Evans. The first two albums of the band, Meet The Vamps and Wake Up are certified Gold in the UK. Not only is the acing in their music career but they have also launched their own record label, Steady Records in partnership with EMI/Universal. The Vamps announced their fifth studio album, Cherry Blossom, in the year 2020.

  • Backstreet Boys 

The 90s most classic boy band, the Backstreet Boys obviously had to be on our list. The group was formed in 1993 and consisted of Nick Carter, Howie Dorough, AJ McLean, and cousins Kevin Richardson and Brian Littrell. The band rose with their debut self-titled album and after that, there was no stopping. They have sold over 100 million records worldwide which made them one of the best-selling artists of all time. The band went on a hiatus in 2002 but unlike some other bands, they did not entirely break our hearts because the band came back after two years and since then they have again been releasing the grooviest songs ever. 

 

  • The Beatles 

“And please, say to me, you will let me hold your hand.” Well, Well, all hail the last one on our list,  the charming 60s band ‘The Beatles’. The British boy band consisted of four members: Paul McCartney, George Harrison, John Lennon, and Ringo Starr. They were loved by their fans, they also topped many charts, however, adults always complained that their music isn’t even music but this did not dull their spark at all. The band’s unique charisma and talent made a legacy for them. The Beatles broke up in the year 1970, ouch again, after that all the members flourished in their solo careers and had many partial reunions. At present McCartney and Starr are alive unfortunately Lennon was murdered in 1980 and Harrison died in 2001 due to lung cancer.
