Covid Live Updates

On Tuesday, the authorities recorded 35,178 new COVID-19 cases and 440 deaths. The daily new cases are up over 40% from Monday’s 25,166, which was the lowest single-day increase in 154 days.

The number of active cases has dropped to 3,67,415, the lowest level in 148 days, accounting for 1.14 percent of all cases. In the last 24 hours, 37,169 people have been discharged after treatment, bringing the total number of people who have recovered to over 3.15 crore. The recovery rate is at 97.52 percent, which is the best it has been since March of last year.
